The NEW Chabad Center of Jewish Life
We live in an increasingly vast and fragmented world. Even within one city, people are spread out, geographically and otherwise. What are we seeking, above all else? Meaningful connections. True friendships. Cohesive community. Something real that brings us together.
That’s exactly what we find at Chabad. Connection. Community. Home. It’s like being part of an extended family, a place where love of each individual and attention to their needs are even more sacred than the shared heritage we explore together.
The Jewish community in Pinellas County is experiencing a renaissance. Unlike other urban areas, the Jewish community is actually growing and becoming more centralized. Chabad has secured a property in the heart of the neighborhood where the renewal is happening right now.
The Center for Jewish Life in downtown City of St. Petersburg, Florida will be dedicated to providing education, outreach and social programming , and it will serve as a nurturing and welcoming place where history is shared, traditions are passed down, and community conversations are held.— Mayor Ken Welch
Our family dedicated the Social Hall in memory of our parents, Fred and Shirley Buns. They delighted in socializing with family and friends, and especially enjoyed dancing together for over 55 years. I miss them every day, but I know that they are honored to be remembered in this way and will be a part of our community for years to come.— Ethel B.
I know that my Jewish education has shaped me, and my Jewish friends from my childhood are still part of my life.... I know that the new Chabad Center for Jewish Life is imperative for the future of my family, for our community and for the Jewish nation. This is how we support the growth and continue the legacy of our people.— Michelle K.
